Motowearhouse took a closer look at the Scorpion Catalina Leather Jacket and we have to say that we are pretty impressed.
The Scorpion Catalina Jacket is a vintage styled jacket cut specifically to trace a woman’s figure and offer advanced protection at the same time. The jacket is constructed of a thick 1.1-1.2 mm distressed top grain leather that gives a really cool vintage look. Most women’s motorcycle jackets don’t have the attention to detail like the Catalina does, right down to the antique brass YKK zippers used throughout. Scorpion has done a fine job of style and sass and while still having a sophisticated appearance.
Underneath the sophisticated flair, the Catalina leather jacket is equipped with light Visco-Elastic Sas-Tec Armor cut appropriately for women in both the shoulders and elbows to offer an unmatched level of protection. The pockets that the elbow and shoulder pads rest in fit perfectly tucked up against the body keeping them right where they need to be if the protection is needed.
The jacket hugs your body due to hip adjustments and utilizes a a really nice leather rib stretch gathering for movement. Shoulder intake vents and rear exhaust vents lie inconspicuously between the leather overlay and the jacket body allowing for air flow. The jacket’s quilted EverHeat interior liner with KwickWick technology helps you stay comfortable in the cooler months of the four seasons. Scorpion positioned reflective material on both the arms and shoulders in a way that is obscure during the daylight but apparent at night for added visibility. The collar is padded for comfort allowing a full range of motion without any irritation.
Overall the Catalina women’s leather jacket is a beautiful and top notch vintage style leather jacket that is complimentary with any style of helmet and boots.
